LSE100, LSE’s flagship interdisciplinary course taken by all first-year undergraduates, is recruiting a creative educator with a commitment to innovative teaching to join our team. LSE100 is an internationally recognised, sector-leading course which introduces LSE students to the School’s mission, building their capacity to tackle complex problems through research-rich education and the exploration of transformative global challenges.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team teaching on the course, contributing to the design and development of course materials, as well as developing their own research agenda. They will be part of an enthusiastic community of interdisciplinary educators and will have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues on educational initiatives both within LSE100 and across the School. The successful candidate will also carry out administrative duties while fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for LSE100 students
Candidates should have completed or be close to completing a PhD in a social science or related discipline. Relevant teaching and assessment experience, the ability to work closely with and learn from colleagues, and excellent communication and organisational skills, are also essential.
